Writing Workshops
Law enforcement professionals will spend up to 25% of their careers reading and writing. Most are underprepared for this task. Our workshops prepare officers to communicate effectively on patrol, in the courtroom, and at the office.

Documenting Citizen Complaints (for First-Line Supervisors)
Citizen complaints are an important method by which police departments learn about and evaluate officer conduct. In this workshop, first-line supervisors will learn how to document their investigation into complaints ranging from minor policy violations (rudeness, traffic violations, etc.) to use of force incidents.

Introduction to Business Writing
This crash course teaches a four-step, reader-centric approach to business writing. Whether you’re a supervisor, an officer, or a non-sworn employee, you’ll learn best practices for getting your point across through email correspondence, proposals, policies, internal memos, press releases, and other written documents.
